Stacked Towns are currently the most sought-after residential properties
The site is a land assembly consisted of 5 parcels of neighbouring lands. The site is approximately 1.5 km west of Yonge St. The Newtonbrook neighbourhood, in which our site is situated in, is one of Toronto’s fastest growing neighbourhoods in the city. From 2006 to 2011, the population of this neighbourhood increased 12.5%, far more than the Toronto’s average population increase of 5.4%. In this neighbourhood, the average household income is $104,133 and the average age is 40, and housing supply is very much in demand.
The plan is to build about 100 stacked townhouse units, in 3 and 4 story buildings, the units will average 800 SF - 1300 SF with a total of about 130,000 SF GFA. The design will be modern with upscale styled construction and 9’ and potentially 10’ ceiling heights. The Project will take 2.5-3 years to complete, including 1 -1.5 years for planning and zoning, and 1-1.5 years for construction. Stacked townhouses are currently the most sought after residential properties in the market because of its low maintenance cost and larger living spaces.
